“JPE piezo products are designed and produced in a very clean way, made by experienced top mechanical engineers. We have tested the CLS1-XY as well as the CLS1-Z, they worked quite well and linear even in open loop, compared to the other similar products in the market. The rigidity against external noise is proven, nm resolution can be routinely achieved by us without heavy demands on the vibration damping system.”
We are using JPE positioners and controllers for near-field optical microscopy. The controller can be flexibly programmed to realize delicate tip-approach, and precise sample positioning. The innovative design of the Z-positioner allows heavy load. In short, the JPE positioner works extremely well.
JPE offers a 3-axis positioner with the highest first resonance frequency on the market. This high resonance frequency is essential to suppress the impact of closed-cycle cryostat noise on our cryogenic scanning microcavities, enabling us to achieve sub-100-pm passive stability with both micron- and millimeter-scale positioning control. JPE was also extremely helpful in working with us to design custom sample mounts that adapted their system to our geometry.
We have been testing the motors in our dilution refrigerator at 7mK. And they work excellently!
